Nocatee residents and area visitors are invited to participate
in the 3rd annual Nocatee Polar Plunge at the Splash
Water Park on January 7th. The event has become a tradition in
Nocatee - offering visitors the opportunity to experience the water
park while mingling with Nocatee residents to celebrate the New
Year.
At 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 7th, the adventurers will gather
together at the Rip Tide Slides for the first swim of the New Year.
The Plunge will take place at 8:30 am. Following the Polar Plunge,
participants and guests can enjoy a breakfast in The Cabana located
within steps of the family lagoon pool.
"Last year more than 300 onlookers watched as daring
participants took the plunge. We were very pleased with the
enthusiasm for this event and are excited to offer it on an annual
basis," said Portland Swan, marketing director for The PARC Group.
"It was an exciting morning and a great way to get together to
celebrate the New Year."
