Nocatee to Host Summer FestivalBack to News
The annual Nocatee Sizzlin' Summer Festival and SALE-ebration
will be held this Saturday, July 16th at the Nocatee
Field adjacent to the Splash Water Park. The event is a fun-filled,
family event for all to enjoy.
In conjunction with the monthly Nocatee Farmers Market, the
festival will offer discounted prices on market items along with
fun festival additions including a 40 foot high rock climbing wall,
a 22 foot slide, artful face painting, jewelry-making at the
Nocatee Kids Korner and a barrel train for the tiny tots.
"With over 700 families now living in Nocatee and the continued
participation from neighboring residents, we expect a large crowd
for our summer festival" said Portland Swan, marketing director
with The PARC group. "Our events and festivals enable us to offer
the Ponte Vedra community and the surrounding areas additional
family friendly venues for shared enjoyment."
The Nocatee Farmers Market is known for its plentiful offerings.
With a regular display of over 60 local merchants and growers and
the addition of new vendors monthly, the Nocatee Market is well
received by area residents and visitors. Offerings at the market
include produce from several local growers, baked goods, floral
creations, potted herbs, a variety of innovative creations by local
artists, canned and pickled preserves, cards and stationary,
homemade dips and tapenades along with a wide variety of
ready-to-eat lunch and beverage items and more.
The Sizzlin' Summer Festival will follow regular farmers market
hours which run from 10 am to 2 pm. Parking is available at the
Nocatee Splash Water Park.
