Nocatee is Jacksonville Area's Fastest-Growing Community

Metrostudy Report ranks Nocatee on Top

Ponte Vedra, Fla. (June 1, 2011) - Nocatee is the Jacksonville area's number-one community for annual new home starts, according to a recent report released by Metrostudy. In 2010, homebuilders started construction of 189 new homes in Nocatee, 55 percent more than any other community in Northeast Florida.

Charles Clark, a local consultant to Metrostudy, announced the findings at a recent meeting of the Sales & Marketing Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association."Nocatee is one of the best-executed communities in the country and is leading the area with new home sales," Clark said. Metrostudy is a national housing data and consulting firm that maintains the most extensive primary database on residential construction in the U.S. housing market.

In 2010, Nocatee's master developer, The PARC Group, also opened Nocatee's resort-style water park and fitness club, and completed the initial phase of the community's electric cart network, making it the first of its kind in Northeast Florida. Nocatee is the only community that offers electric carts such as golf carts and other electrically powered, low-speed vehicles as an alternate form of transportation throughout the entire community.

More than 700 families live in Nocatee, enjoying unrivaled amenities and easy access to St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville.
