Nocatee Starts 500th Home

May 26, 2010 (PONTE VEDRA, FL) - The PARC Group, master developer of Nocatee, announced that construction has started on the 500th home in the new coastal community.

Since the completion of the first home in 2006, Nocatee has evolved from a well-planned vision to a living, self-sustaining community in Ponte Vedra. "We are very pleased with our continued progress over the past few years," said Richard T. Ray, Managing Partner with The PARC Group.  "The success of Nocatee is the result of nearly a decade of planning, and it is very satisfying to see homebuilders, residents, and businesses leading the way to create the community that it was intended to be."

Nocatee neighborhoods include Austin Park, Riverwood, Coastal Oaks, Willowcove, Kelly Pointe and Tidewater, with homes in a wide range of sizes and prices.  Greenleaf Village is scheduled to open later this year and Highland Lakes is planned for summer of 2011.   Many of Northeast Florida's finest builders are offering homes in Nocatee including CornerStone Homes, Taylor Morrison, David Weekley Homes, Lennar, Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers, Del Webb, and Richmond American Homes.

In addition to the new Nocatee communities, construction will soon be completed on the final phase of Nocatee Parkway. Due to open this summer and more than a decade in advance, this new extension of the four-lane parkway will complete the connection between the Intracoastal Waterway and US1 providing easy, uninterrupted travel for Nocatee residents as well as those in the surrounding area. Nocatee Parkway also serves as a much needed hurricane evacuation route.

Nocatee is a master-planned community that will provide a wide variety of residential lifestyles, employment opportunities, shopping, schools, civic uses and recreation. For more information, please visit www.Nocatee.com. Nocatee, Northeast Florida's premier coastal community.
