On Saturday, January 21st, come visit the Nocatee Farmers Market from 10am-2pm. This month's theme is "Health and Safety Fair" and along with over 70 vendors we will be having organizations such as Baptist South, Girls Inc. of Jacksonville, American Lung Association, Safe Kids of Northeast Florida, and American Red Cross to talk about ways to start the year off the healthy and safe way. St. John's County Fire Rescue truck and representative will be on site from 10am-12pm to talk and take pictures with. Vendors will be selling items including: organic fruits and vegetable, a diverse selection of produce, meat and eggs, hand crafted jewelry, BBQ, Philly cheese-steaks, hot dogs, fresh squeezed juice, baked goods, homemade sauces, home-made sweets and more. Atlantic Coast Dance Studio is set to perform an up-beat dance routine at 11:30am at the market as well. Student nurses from Florida State College of Jacksonville will also be on site to administer free blood pressure, BMI and pulse checks. With so much to do, everyone will be sure to have a good time.
