With its sparkling downtown skyscrapers, majestic bridges over
the St. Johns River and major ocean seaport, Jacksonville is one of
the most vibrant cities in the Southeast. It is the financial and
insurance center of Florida and the largest city in land area in
the contiguous United States. The Jacksonville metropolitan area
includes three beaches, four counties and has a population of more
than one million residents. It is home to the NFL's Jacksonville
Jaguars and was the host city of Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005.
Jacksonville International Airport is 15 minutes from downtown and
is very convenient to Nocatee residents.
