The Nocatee Greenway is a 5,000 acre interconnected network of preserved land that provides and protects safe havens and migratory corridors for birds, mammals, and other wildlife. The St. Johns River, Durbin Creek, Twelve Mile Swamp, Tolomato River Basin and the Atlantic Ocean are all regionally interconnected with the Nocatee Greenway uniting significant ecosystems. Residents will enjoy the convenience of the Greenway’s walking trails, bicycle and electric cart paths that will provide passageways between residential villages, the Town Center and the Nocatee Preserve. This greenway also provides residents with additional passive recreational opportunities such as jogging, hiking, biking, and birdwatching.
